Who is Vanpool Hawaii?

Vanpool Hawaii is a transportation demand management program of the Hawaii Department of Transportation. VPSI, Inc., the first and largest vanpool company in the nation operates Vanpool Hawaii as part of a statewide contract with the State of Hawaii Department of Transportation.

Vanpool Hawaii serves the commuting needs of hundreds of residents, military personnel, many businesses and government organizations by offering a complete Ridesharing Commuter Program.

Our service provides an alternative to commuting by personal auto, bus, ferry, or company fleet vehicles. Participation in a vanpool offers the opportunity for tremendous savings for the riders.

A vanpool program also serves as a source of reliable scheduled transportation; where none existed before. In addition, vanpools help certain participating businesses reduce parking troubles, accessibility problems and costs, while gaining potential tax saving benefits.
