Monthly Vehicle Seat Fee

On the Big Island, all rates are based on the daily round trip miles, as determined from the driver's residence to the place of employment. The driver of a 15-passenger van does not have to pay a monthly seat fee.

Graduated Payment Schedules

In an effort to 'get you on the road' sooner, Vanpool Hawaii will allow you a few months to find the required number of passengers. During this period, the total invoice will be pro-rated (on a graduated payment schedule) based on the number of passengers.

An example of the 15-passenger (30 miles daily round-trip) schedule is as follows:

The cost per month for each rider and the driver of a 7-passenger vehicle is based on the number of round-trip miles traveled each day.
