Monthly Vehicle Seat Fee

On Maui, vehicle rates are based on a monthly seat fee of $55 per person for a Vanpool van and $70 per person for a Cool Pool vehicle. Previously it was based on the number of daily round trip miles traveled.

Graduated Payment Schedules

In an effort to 'get you on the road' sooner, Vanpool Hawaii will allow you a few months to find the required number of passengers. During this period, the total invoice will be pro-rated (on a graduated payment schedule) based on the number of passengers.

An example of the 15-passenger invoice is as follows:

The cost per month for each rider and the driver of a 7-passenger vanpool vehicle is based on at $55 seat fee per person each month.
